Coastal walks & tropical rainforests
The Coastal Walk is well signposted and takes in stunning coastal scenery, beaches and rainforest. It can be enjoyed as a day walk or several short walks. Keep an eye out for koalas, goannas and dolphins. Just a short walk from Ana Mandara is the beautiful Settlement Point Reserve. Facilities include picnic tables, BBQs, a playground, kayak and SUP hire and a nearby cafe. From here you can take a short ferry ride to the North Shore and onwards to the coastal surf spot Crescent Head. Bike hire is available in town and there’s lots of easy flat rides accessible from Ana Mandara.
Getting Here & Getting Around

We offer a Complimentary Shuttle Service for our guests. Prior to booking please provide us with your bus, train or flight arrival times. We can shuttle you to Ana Mandara Luxury Bed and Breakfast at no extra charge. Shuttle service also available to local restaurants and venues.


Taxis and Uber are available 24 hours, everyday of the year. Bookings are recommended in peak periods to ensure prompt pick up or drop off.

Beautifully located on the Hastings River, with most mornings Kangeroos grasing in the backyard and on occasions dolphins passing by in the Hastings river out front.
